Women After God’s Own Heart
A recent pastoral teaching given to CFC FFL Bangkok, Thailand, became a milestone for the community.
It was an opportunity for deepening at a personal level for the servants and members, this time, for women exclusively.
The recent pastoral visit of Mimi David, together with Oland David, the CFC FFL Thailand Country Servants,
paved the way for such an opportunity. On November 23, around 25 of us women from CFC, HFL and SFL,
came together with Mimi David to learn more about our special call from God as women and our unique role in the family,
the community, and the whole plan of God for the country and the world...

CBCP gives recognition to CFC FFL
MANILA, October 26, 2009—The Episcopal Commission on the Laity (ECLA)
of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) has
given formal recognition to the Couples for Christ Foundation for
Family and Life (CFC FFL) as a National Private Association of the Lay
Faithful.

Re-appointed Filipino couple to the Pontifical Council for the Family sees tougher work ahead
MANILA, October 28, 2009The defense of the Catholic Church’s doctrines on family and life remains a critical issue of debate in a liberal generation we have at the present, but Frank and Geraldine Padilla vowed to continue working for the renewal of family and defense of life no matter how tough it gets.
After having been re-appointed by Pope Benedict XVI to the Pontifical Council for the Family, the Padillas admitted that they are facing truckload of works to do with the Council given the numerous attacks being directed against the Church’s doctrines on family and life.

It has been 28 years of experiencing the Lord's goodness and blessings. Happy 28th anniversary!
We have traveled, and continue to travel, a hard road, a narrow path. Through these 28 years we have experienced joys and sorrows, happiness and pain, victories and seeming defeats, highs and lows. Brethren, if we truly follow the Lord, the road we travel will always be such. We need to endure. Those great missionaries, Paul and Barnabas, "strengthened the spirits of the disciples and exhorted them to persevere in the faith, saying, 'It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God." (Acts 14:22).

CFC-FFL at ABAC Ethics Seminar
"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses to the ends of the Earth" – Acts 1:8.
This verse has always been a source of empowerment, since I participated in the World Youth Day last year, July 2008, in Australia. Seeing people of different races, from all over the world, was an affirmation from the Lord that He wanted to spread His love to everyone.

Message from CFC-FFL Thailand's Chapter Head
The year 2008 has brought great joy to the members of Couples for Christ Foundation for Family and Life (CFC-FFL) in Thailand when God manifested His intention for our community to be a part of a holy remnant, purified by oppression and pains, brought about by our discerned decision to resist being fence-sitters and remain “connected to the root” while restoring God’s original plan for CFC.

The 6th World Meeting of Families
Our Servant General, Frank Padilla, together with his wife Gerry, participated in the 6th World Meeting of Families held in Santa Fe, Mexico, on January 14 to 18, 2009. Frank and Gerry are members of the Pontifical Council for the Family, and are the only members from Asia.
